Taking the long way back: Nissan wins the Nurburgring 1000km

Winter is coming, and regrettably that means the majority of motorsport is winding up for the year.

On the plus side it means we’re getting to see a lot of last minute competition, and more than a few championships coming down to the wire.

This pair of battle-scarred Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3’s have just finished their duties at the gruelling Nurburgring 1000km, the final leg of the Blancpain Endurance Series.

Congratulations to Nissan, Team RJN and Lucas Ordonez for scooping the Team and Driver’s championships, as well as the GT-R’s themselves for taking their first championship in GT3 spec.
