This year we did it a little different for Formula Drift! As most people were out watching the practice runs of these amazing drifters, i went through the pits and checked out some awesome prep work.

Chris Pit

It’s always awesome to see drivers who also work on their own cars along with their pit crew. Chris Forsberg is definitely no stranger to wrenching on his own car, as i have seen him plenty of times putting in work with his crew.Great to see that this year he was running a full carbon 370z, which was an eye catcher indeed!

S15 trailer

S15 Silvias are always a pleasure to see here in the States, since they were unfortunately never sold here. This particular S15 was built by CX Racing and was sitting on some awesome copper plated wheels!

Yes this V8 ITB transplant was in one awesome 180sx S13!

Hankook Model

Everyone knows we go to drift racing events for the cars, but we more than likely stay for the beautiful models that Hankook Tires, Falken Tires, and Toyo Tires bring!

Hand controls in s13

This was an awesome hand control set up drift car for a gentleman who was in a wheelchair. i was blown away to hear that he gets this thing sideways! Much respect!

Its amazing how crazy these drift builds are, i remember when most of the drift cars still competed with 4 cylinder engines, now it always seems like every drift car has a V8 transplant! But we are surely not complaining!
